Seminar A: Topic: Private& Family Foundations
Learn how to research foundations. Using the most expansive tool – database from The Foundation Center of NYC participants will master how to effectively use the database to find the most appropriate private & family foundations. Be able to search for the best fit between the foundation’s goals and mission & your organization is the most important first step. Then the seminar will delve into the issues of writing the best grant submission. This is a seminar designed for the staff or volunteers seeking information about researching, writing and submitting grants to foundations whether the group is non-profit, school, sports team, faith-based. It is also a perfect opportunity for anyone seeking a new career to learn about grants writing.
Seminar B - Topic: Corporate Foundation & Corporate Charitable Giving Programs
The corporate world has a lot to offer to non-profit & school organizations. Most corporate grants are restricted to 501(c)(3) groups but a full variety of groups. Corporate foundations offer the best initial grant writing for non-profits. Learn how to research corporate foundations. In addition t foundations many corporations also operate Charitable Giving Programs. So the seminar will discuss both potential sources of grant funding. Do you want or need to learn about the world of corporate giving? Do you work as a volunteer or staff of a non-profit, school, college or community group? Or is your group considering becoming a non-profit organization and are seeking ideas about potential funding? Seminar C - Topic: Government Grants
Now that the federal government finally has a budget, federal grants will start appearing. Do you want or need to learn about government grants writing? Do you work as a volunteer or staff for a local government agency/community/school organization? This is a seminar designed for the staff or volunteers seeking information about researching, writing and submitting grants. All participants will learn about www.grants.gov process. It is also a perfect opportunity for anyone seeking a new career to learn about grants writing.
